How does one day in 2010 sound to you? >|;;
Welcome to PDMR! Makinoshan Region was, at a point in time, one of the most fortunate regions in the world. It was huge with many routes and extremely beautiful, breath taking natural creations, unharmed by the many cities which had been built in Makinoshan Region. It was unique in shape, two large areas of land on the western and eastern side with a huge island floating in between the circular sea which divided the two portions of the region. A frosty island sat under the smaller island- now called Elemental Island- serving as a resting place for those who had to cross the sea in order to get to the other side of the region. A small chain of islands lived high in the north. Like most regions Makinoshan had a League. However due to unfortunate circumstances the League had been... destroyed. After sixteen years the region is one again blooming into it's original beauty with a new League. All trainers are now flocking to the magnificent region of Makinoshan!

IMPORTANT IN CHARACTER!
Hm. Well, nothing seems out of the ordinary, as it appears. Where rather little trainers are flocking to Makinoshan (frankly, some people seem rather happy with their isolation from the rest of the regions) strange things are happening in the Destination Region, as Makinoshan has been nicknamed. For one thing the ancient True Shadow pokémon, Tsgna (ZIG-nah), seems to be alive. Not good...
West Makinoshan
Strong winter snow warning. East Makinoshan
Strong winter storm warning.

"Mhm... Now what? I sort of lost track." Luke chuckled, as he turned to Miria. "Umm... The first town we come across, perhaps?" Miria suggested, sighing, as they continued walking down the path. "Anything you say... Absolutely anything you say..." He sighed, as he gazed admiringly at Miria. "I'm sorry, what did you just say, master?" Asked Miria, as she eyed Luke closely.
Luke blushed a bright red, as he quickly replied:"Erm, nothing. It's nothing." Luke looked at the pokeball, to avert his gaze from Miria. 'I think I'll just call it Luvdisc.'
"Master," Miria grinned, "Can't you think of a name?" Luke looked up. "Uh, no."

ooc:// Okay, so, remember! When you catch a pokémon post it into your character's thread or modify it into your character's post! Also, because you used the pokéball, you need to take it off Luke's inventory, unless you never even added it. o-o Always remember to modify that special thread so you can keep track of your character!
"But I told you, Evening!
" A feminine voice yelled as its owner ran through the forest at a breakneck pace. Her black hair, tied itno a single, lengthly braid, flew behind her, somehow not getting snagged on the many branches of the thinwood. "There's nothing there!"
"Eevee!" The trainer's pokémon replied, bursting through the bush. The brown creature stopped short a few meters by Luke and Miria. The Eevee, who was owned, as indicated by the human's voice behind it and the ribbon around its neck, looked up at the two much taller figues. Then it barked- or meowed- loudly, calling its trainer. Before long a Pokémon Ranger appeared.
"Hm? Oh, hello there! I'm PokéRanger Patricia!" Patricia greeted happily, brown gaze eyeing the two. "Oh, hey, did you just catch something with that pokéball? I know- want a battle? Evenin' needs a good battle and so does Morning! And then there's Midnight..." A grin spread across Patricia's face.
Event-- Battle! Pokémon Ranger Patricia wants to battle! Do you accept the challenge?

ooc:// explain to me how it goes down.
'Man, what's next? Afternoon?' Thought Luke, as he turned to Miria. "So, you up to it, Miria?" he asked her, with an expression of excitement on his face. "Ok, master..." Miria replied, as she faced Luke. 'Luke seems enthused by this... I must do good.' she thought to herself, as Luke faced Pat once again.

ooc:// ... It pretty much like any normal pokémon battle in a role play. o______o
"Yeah! Okay, Evening, you go get them!" Patricia stated, feet planted firmly on the ground. Yelling out an attack- Growl- Patricia watched in anticipation.
Evening stood in front of Miria, brown tail flicking in the wind. Then she let out a meek and rather cute purr, hopefully to make the Gardevoir lesslikely to attack (or to possibly squeal, 'CUUUTE!' but that rarely happens).
ooc:// Sorry, it isn't on of my best post. ¬¬;;; I'm tired and have a lot more post to do to. Ugh... five forums. Boo...

ooc:// Lucky you. No, really.
Miria was a bit hesitant to attack, and Luke hadn't given any orders yet. "Master?" "THAT WAS SO FRIGGEN CUTE!" Jumped Luke, apparently the one being affected by the growl. "Master??" Called Miria, still focusing on the Eevee.
"Oh, yeah... Hidden Power, Miria!" Miria responded to this by doing said move, using pure psycho-kinetic power.

Evening didn't need to be told what to do. The small Eevee quickly bounced over and twirled under the many spheres of dim gold, eyes never leaving her target- the Gardevoir...
Which had turned into a bit of a mistake...
The brown fox, although agile, was focusing on where the Gardevoir was shooting. Vision missing a single orb, the small segment of Hidden Power slammed into Evening, sending her crashing into some bushes. However the amount of damage dealt by the Hidden Power appeared to not of successfully knock out Evening.
"Eep! Evening, use Tackle!" Patricia called from her side of the battle field. Quickly did Evening do so, running again towards Miria.

(ooc:// Sorry for the 4 month leave. Things just happened.)
The attack sent the Eevee flying into some bushes. Luke waited for signs of movement. In moments, the Eevee sprang into action once again. He signaled for Miria to repeat on his command.
The Eevee ran at Miria, attempting a tackle attack. Miria focused on the incoming object, as she began regathering energy. As Evening neared Miria, the energy quickly began to peak, forming glistening orbs of energy. "Now!" Luke ordered, seconds before collision. Miria side-stepped and launched the energy at Evening.

outofwaffles;; 8D Yay~~~. What attack was that anyways? Hidden Power again?
backwithwaffles;; Eevee was wodnering why the Gardevoir wasn't attacking. Or dodging, for that matter. But she couldn't just think about that. She was in a battle and a rather fun one!
When the energy started to grow, Eevee wondered if she should go on. Patricia didn't seem to be saying anything so did Evening have to dodge? Maybe, maybe not...
In any case, it was too late.
Screeching to a halt, Evening was about to turn around and await orders when the Gardevoir sent some sort of attack at her. Oh no, oh dear! Blasted, Evening rolled along the ground, pelt slightly green with grass stains. This was not going in her favor!
"Evening, quickly get up!" Patricia yelled. Think about what attack to use, think, think... "Stand your ground and use Sand-attack!"
Eevee understood. Letting out a little yip, Eveningused her tail was send a mass of sand towards Miria.

((OOC:: Yep, it be Hidden Power, lassie. *Took some time to form a response*. How's life, mate?))
The attack connected nicely, shoving Evening back wards with ease. Luke looked on with an intensity of fire, thinking of a tactic that would less likely get Miria hurt. *Sigh* 'Tis the life of a trainer...
With a bounce, the Eevee sent a Sand Attack at Miria. The sand flying about made seeing a bit straining, yet the Eevee was still in sight. Luke thought hard, flinching at the thought of Mira's pain. 'Meep.' Luke almost fell over from the tension. "Miria, use Hidden Power on the ground, then redirect it at the Eevee!"
Miria nodded and proceeded with the plan. With the force of the Hidden Power, Miria was pushed up above the Sand Attack, seconds before it reached her. With the remaining power of the attack, she shot Evening... Albeit shakily, if I must add.

Despite the shaky attack, the Hidden Power struck Evening hard. The little Eevee was sent flying, the many small orbs of powerful energy whirling her into the ground. Patricia gasped, looking at the Eevee, quite horrified and rather baffled. In any case Patricia would have to hope that Evening was alright.
... So much for hoping.
The Eevee lay still, unable to stand up. Maybe if she succumbed to sleep the pain would leave...
Event - Battle Won! Congratulations! Player defeated!
The battle was over. Patricia, with a defeated sigh, returned Evening to her Pokéball. Then she smiled as all trainers had to face the consequences with a smile.
"Well, now that was a fun battle! Most trainers don't really do this, other than the Gyms and other officials, but I geuss I can give you a bit of stuff..," With a grin Patricia reached behind her back and itno her bag for some items. She tossed them at Luke.
Obtained... One Luck Incense and two Big Mushrooms!
