Welcome to PDMR! Makinoshan Region was, at a point in time, one of the most fortunate regions in the world. It was huge with many routes and extremely beautiful, breath taking natural creations, unharmed by the many cities which had been built in Makinoshan Region. It was unique in shape, two large areas of land on the western and eastern side with a huge island floating in between the circular sea which divided the two portions of the region. A frosty island sat under the smaller island- now called Elemental Island- serving as a resting place for those who had to cross the sea in order to get to the other side of the region. A small chain of islands lived high in the north. Like most regions Makinoshan had a League. However due to unfortunate circumstances the League had been... destroyed. After sixteen years the region is one again blooming into it's original beauty with a new League. All trainers are now flocking to the magnificent region of Makinoshan!

IMPORTANT IN CHARACTER!
Hm. Well, nothing seems out of the ordinary, as it appears. Where rather little trainers are flocking to Makinoshan (frankly, some people seem rather happy with their isolation from the rest of the regions) strange things are happening in the Destination Region, as Makinoshan has been nicknamed. For one thing the ancient True Shadow pokémon, Tsgna (ZIG-nah), seems to be alive. Not good...

It worked!
Still maneuvering in the air with great ease, Fluff let out an energetic cheer as her attacks hit Muguchi. Cotton Spore was slowing her down and… poison powder was making her choke. Cringing visibly at the horrible, wheezy coughs, the Skiploom covered her green ears very quickly. That did nothing to block out Greyest’s telepathic note, however. Opening her eyes and looking at the mysterious lady, Fluff smiled and nodded happily, skipping to Kat’s side.
Watching the battle with half interest, Fluff did her best not to stare directly at Chris and Kat’s kiss… Humans didn’t seem to like that very much. Stifling a gasp, her eyes became as wide as saucers at the stunning speed with which Greyest had pinned Muguchi. Waving a brisk farewell, that single, fleeting glance at the ghost lady’s Exorcist imitation was enough to send Fluff screaming to the far end of the gym… Very far.
Kat was a little too busy to care.
That impulsive move, she’d probably have to apologize for it later, was being returned ever so softly. The scream and sound of her gym door being broken caused her to pull back hesitantly, however, still keeping her hand on Chris’ cheek.
Spotting the odd group staring at them (and the disappearance of the ghostly ladies), she blushed a rather dark scarlet. Even darker than the color Maira’s horn was glowing.
“Um…”
Casting Chris a shy, somewhat pleading glance, a million unrealistic excuses ran through her mind as she looked away. Still keeping her hand on Chris’ cheek, the gym leader simply shrugged bashfully.
“…Hi Maira… and company. Erm… Well… I like what you did with your hair. Rainbow-ish. It’s nice… So’s your outfit… ”
Changing the tide of conversation, Kat hoped Chris would be able to explain things to them… Eep.

Unfortunately, Chris was in much the same predicament as Kat.
"M-Maira?" he whispered, looking fearfully at the double Pokemorph who had deigned to enter the building at that precise moment - the precise moment he really didn't want anyone to be interrupting.
Stay calm; Maira's reasonable. Be thankful it wasn't Mana.
Shivering at the thought of the devil they called his younger cousin, he decided to answer the question posed by the champion fairly bluntly.
"Well, yes, this isn't the best time," he muttered, his cheeks turning the same approximate shade of scarlet as Kat's as he racked his brain for some sort of excuse. 'She fell on me' wasn't particularly brilliant...Instead, he changed tack, explaining the recent events.
"Some creepy girl called Muguchi came and attacked Kat - fortunately I was in the area at the time. We battled her for a bit, then someone called Greyest showed up with a bunch of Marowak and Cubone, then I got hit with a Hyper Beam, then they both left, then you showed up. Nice hair."
"To the gentleman who spoke just now... Excuse me, but would you care to die?" -Shelly de Killer.
"Yes. "This" boyfriend, "that" boyfriend, and "the other" boyfriend. Care to join? The "yet another" boyfriend position is still open for applicants." -Angel Starr.

"Hm? I don't know, I'm thinking of dying my hair bl..." Hold on.
{So it's the usual, get attack, get scared, relize feelings, and 'fall' on each other?} Psychic-Dream asked, blinked at the two before suddenly pushed aside by his trainer.
"No, no! It's get attack, black out, attacked some more, have a pokémon evolve just to help you, then fall in love!
" Maira corrected, the two Gym Leaders rather forgotten.
{You mean like that time in Ever Grand in Victory Road?} Psychic-Dream added with a little smirk. Maira twitched and was about to retaliate but was quickly interrupted.
{What happened there, anyways? I think I blacked out? Hey, there where Hariyama, Medicham and even Wiskash and we stayed there for over a week!!} Fire-Bird added.
Maira groaned. Great, more reminders of the past. With a glance towards the two shinies who where talking about what had happened in Ever Grand (the words 'evolution' and 'cute' could be heard somewhere in the mix), and yet another groan, Maira turned back to Chris and Kat.
"Eh, happens everyday. Wait, you say Hyper beam? Kid, I can barely stand up to those things!" Maira snapped, swiftly gliding towards the two. Red and blue eyes sending a glare towards the wall where three holes could be seen, pressumably where Greyest had pinned Muguchi with claws of some sort, the formidable trainer kneeled in front of the two... "So, all I can tell is that trauma equals love. And-"
{By the way, what ever happened to those boys? I heard the lil' green haired dude's not battlign as much and-} The human-esque chicken was quickly cut short when flames appeared. With not not-so-surprised eye roll Fire-bird jumped over the Flamethrower.
"Oh, shut. Up!" Maira snapped, eager to get the subject of any friends she had a few years ago away from the ears of the two Gym Leaders in front of her. Hey, look on the bright side- at least you have to time to think about a better excuse! Although, good luck on tricked an emotion senser...

'Just when things start getting more peaceful around here, Maira comes back...' He muttered to himself. He stopped, The pokemon's gaze met the broken gym door, and curiously, he floated into the gym. Schannet froze, looking at the situation.
'Did I come at a bad time?' Schannet asked, then looked at Maira, who had apparently gotten taller. 'Looks like Maira's finally growing... about time to.' A small chuckle echoed through the trainer's heads, before the psychic pokemon levitated to Maira.

Talk about being left out of the loop.
Blushing an even deeper scarlet, as the shinies discussed the various scenarios they believed best fit the events, Kat glanced down at Chris, blushed some more- and shifted a teensy bit to the right to relieve the pressure her leaning over him may have caused. Smiling sheepishly, the grass leader shrugged in an ‘oh-well’ sort of way, whispering a quiet, “Thought of anything better, yet? My mind’s a complete blank…” before being interrupted by Maira.
“Yeah… Chris was very brave.”
Giving said trainer a gentle hug, Kat leaned back, looking intently at Maira’s pokemon- as they discussed events Maira clearly didn’t want to remember… This might become useful later if the newly returned emotion sensor wanted to use this against them…
Brushing a long strand of hot pink from her face, the off-kilter girl looked mildly surprised as Schannet appeared outta nowhere- but that was kinda to be expected today. Weird people… and things… seemed to like her gym.
Giving the shattered wreckage of her door, Kat winced as she thought of the best way to approach that obscure committee that dealt with Gym Insurance… She’d be needing a lot of it by days end…

"Shut up before I send my Absol after you. A got a fair amount of dark-types on me. Di, Night-Abyss, K... no, wait, she's... gone," Maira voice faltered suddenly along the last name (nickname?). However, determined to not show any weakness (especially to that Schannet- annoying bum!), Maira confidently rose her head and continued to speak in her usual strong voice. "But, yeah, I guess I'll pay for that. It would of been easier if I had some birthday money, though." Oddly enough, she muttered the last piece.
The shiny gardevoir sighed and looked at the two Gym Leaders. Eyeing them with bright blue eyes, Psy decided on whether the battle beforehand had been fatal. Sicne they where alive, it wasn't all THAT bad. But a Hyper Beam was powerful, no less. Mmh...
